West Ham have made an offer for Chelsea fullback Emerson Palmieri.
The London Evening Standard says West Ham have tabled a bid for Emerson today.
Bringing in competition for Aaron Cresswell at left-back has been a priority for the club this window.
And a move for Emerson is now underway, with Chelsea keen to offload the 28-year-old. The Blues wish to sell outright rather than another loan switch for the Italian, who spent last season at Lyon.
It's believed a deal would likely cost in the region of £13m, with Emerson having two years remaining on his current Chelsea contract.
