Kota Kinabalu: Hajah Myrna Jimenez @Isabelo is the new Permanent Secretary at the State Rural Development Ministry, replacing Datuk Norlijah Hj Danin.
Norlijah has been appointed as the Deputy State Secretary of Sabah, effective Feb 18, 2025.
“Today marks a critical moment for the Ministry as we witness the continuity of leadership in our efforts to strengthen rural development in Sabah further.
“I am confident that with the experience and leadership of Myrna, we will continue to implement the development agenda that has been planned,” said Minister Datuk Jahid Jahim.
Jahid, who is also Tamparuli Assemblyman, said that this leadership transition is expected to further solidify the direction of rural development in Sabah, in line with the state government’s aspirations to improve the people’s well-being.
