Links with Napoli for Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo have been rubbished in Italy.
It's been claimed in England that Napoli have been an option for the unsettled Portuguese
But RAI journalist Ciro Venerato told Arena Napoli,"Rumours of Napoli's interest in Ronaldo are fake news.
"(Jorge) Mendes never offered him to Napoli and the Azzurri club never thought of hiring him. There is nothing at all.
"These are inventions that have circulated."
