Watch as a reporter desperately tries to keep her interviewee on topic as she asks him about a severe winter snow storm - but to no avail.

A blizzard has dumped a record-breaking more than 30 inches of snow across parts of the Northeast, as millions across the region have been placed under a state of emergency.

During an interview with NBC 4 New York, a member of the public gave thought to the homeless who are having to face the bitterly cold conditions without shelter.

As she tried to shift the conversation about the “nostalgia of winters past”, the man was undeterred and continued to discuss the housing situation, resulting in the reporter ending the interview.
