Sky Sports pundit Clinton Morrison believes that Newcastle United are top six contenders.
The Magpies are among the teams that have shown the most impressive form this season.
They have only lost one out of nine league matches, with their latest result an outstanding 5-1 win over Brentford at the weekend.
Speaking on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday, Morrison stated on Eddie Howe's Magpies team:
"I think they can stay there - if they're in and amongst it in January, they'll spend again and go again. They have players like [Allan] Saint-Maximin coming on off the bench, they had Joelinton on off the bench who had an assist for the fifth goal.
"They can definitely stay in that fifth spot, in the top six if they can keep everyone fit. If they can keep everyone fit, and add to it in January, they'll have a great chance.
"That was only their third win of the season and they're up there in those places - they've had a lot of draws and everyone was starting to complain about the draws. I think top four is a touch too far for them this season but in one or two years, definitely.
"With the money they've got now and the backing, they could definitely do that. Now though, they'll be aiming for a top six finish and a win in a cup competition but yeah - the place is jumping and it seems like the good times are back at Newcastle."
