Newcastle United new signing Sandro Tonali has been learning English these past few weeks.
The Italian is determined to get things right when the season starts for the Magpies in the Premier League.
Manager Eddie Howe also addressed a rumour that stated Tonali was almost in tears at being told he had to move to the Magpies from AC Milan.
"That's been totally misguided," Howe told reporters.
"Sandro is very proud to be here. He's proud to wear the shirt and represent the club. That was made very clear to me very early on - otherwise we wouldn't have committed to the transfer.
"I have got no desire to drag anyone to Newcastle. They have to want to run there with no shoes on. That's the mentality we want because you have to have that togetherness, spirit and desire to do well. That's only going to come from a desire to play for the club."
