Newcastle United are concerned as Reims striker Hugo Ektike is being offered across Europe.
The Telegraph says Ekitike is said to have been offered to other clubs around Europe as early as this week, despite a deal said to be agreed with the Magpies.
The 19-year-old is close to agreeing personal terms with Eddie Howe's side after a breakthrough season with Ligue 1 side Reims last season.
However, the France U20 international has sought out interest from other clubs, with seemingly no parties wishing to engage in further talks.
Newcastle are close to signing the forward this month and already have an agreement in place with Reims.
