Newcastle United are launching a bid for Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella.
The Telegraph says Newcastle have entered talks with Inter for the Italy international and are eager to wrap up a deal quickly.
The Magpies are aiming to do business for around 50m.
Their move for Barella, however, will not affect the pursuit of Leicester City midfielder James Maddison.
Newcastle are also keen to land the England international, with the Foxes rating him at 60-70m.
