Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff says there's no time to enjoy victory over Crystal Palace.

The Toon won 4-0 ahead of this week's Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Longstaff told Chronicle Live: "We have set the tone. But it is probably going to need to be better though.

"Especially from the second half on Saturday against Crystal Palace. But it is another European night under the lights and it will be rocking.

"We just can't wait."

Longstaff was also asked if the team was now at peak form: "Definitely not. We still have Joe Willock to come back and Sven Botman and others aren't far away. We just need to get back to full strength and then when happens you will hopefully see the best of us.

"It was a great day all round though. We had Callum Wilson back and Jacob Murphy was excellent and Anthony Gordon had a great game too."
