Newcastle United were offered the chance to sign Emmanuel Dennis from Watford and Maxwell Cornet from Burnley.

The two attackers are available on the market as a result of their respective teams' relegation.

According to Chronicle Live, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe does want to add an attacker or two to his squad this summer.

However, he is not thought to have an interest in either Dennis or Cornet.

The source does state that Bayer Leverkusen's Moussa Diaby and Everton's Anthony Gordon.

Newcastle have also told striker Dwight Gayle to train with their reserves.
