Newcastle United are stepping up their interest in RB Leipzig midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Hungary international has emerged as a target for Newcastle after their Champions League qualification.
Sky Sports says the Magpies have had scouts check on Szoboszlai in recent games and delivered glowing reports to football chief Dan Ashworth.
This season, the 22-year-old has amassed an impressive 44 appearances with 9 goals and 13 assists so far this season.
