
The newly appointed Haryana Congress OBC Department Chairman and MLA from Adampur assembly constituency Chander Prakash will take charge of his new assignment on June 11.
The event will be organised at the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee’s office in Chandigarh where the senior party leaders from across the country and the state, including MPs, MLAs, former MPs, former MLAs, office-bearers, and party workers are expected to attend in large numbers.
The Congress leader said that he will carry out the responsibility assigned by Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, senior leader Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and OBC Department National President Dr Anil Jain with commitment.
He said that the special efforts will be made for the development and welfare of the OBC community while fighting for their rights and justice. The Haryana OBC Department will also play an important role in taking ideology and policies of the Congress to the public.
He informed that Haryana in-charge B.K. Hariprasad, OBC Department National President Dr Anil Jain, state president Rao Narender Singh, former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, MPs and general secretaries Kumari Selja and Randeep Singh Surjewala, MP and CWC member Deepender Singh Hooda, former MP Raj Babbar, co-incharge Jitender Baghel, along with other MPs and MLAs and senior Congress leaders, will grace the occasion.
