
PUTRAJAYA – The services of My E.G. Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Berhad under the MYEG Group, as collecting agents on behalf of the Road Transport Department (JPJ), will be suspended effective Oct 5.
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said the decision was made after considering compliance with the terms and conditions of the agreement, as well as obligations that remain unfulfilled or unresolved by the companies.
"In line with this decision, all JPJ services previously offered through MYEG Group channels will be suspended from Oct 5, 2026," he said in a statement on Friday.
However, he said JPJ assured the public that transactions and service delivery would continue as usual through official and alternative channels.
For motor vehicle licence (LKM) renewals, transactions can be made at JPJ counters, the MyJPJ app for private and e-hailing vehicles, the JPJ public portal for private and e-hailing vehicles, JPJ kiosks for private vehicles, JPJ mobile counters for private and commercial vehicles, post offices for private vehicles and Puspakom for private and commercial vehicles in the de-controlled category.
Driving licence (CDL) renewals can be made at JPJ counters, the MyJPJ app, the JPJ public portal, JPJ kiosks, JPJ mobile counters and post offices.
For driving licence (LDL) applications, the public can use JPJ counters, the MyJPJ app, the JPJ public portal, JPJ kiosks and JPJ mobile counters.
Summonses can be checked and paid at JPJ counters, via the MyJPJ app, the JPJ public portal, JPJ kiosks and JPJ mobile counters.
Meanwhile, transfers of ownership can be made at JPJ counters; at JPJ kiosks for motorcycles owned by Malaysian individuals; on the JPJ public portal for vehicles owned by Malaysian individuals and companies; and through eAuto companies using the Temporary Transfer of Ownership System and eSerahan Tukar Hak Milik.
Computerised Law Test (KPP01) bookings made through MYEG channels before the effective date of Oct 5, 2026 will still be honoured and can proceed as usual.
However, new bookings made from Oct 5, 2026 must be arranged and the tests taken, at KPP test centres located at driving institutes nationwide.
For summons payments involving non-Malaysians at the Malaysia-Singapore border checkpoints, payment facilities will be available through JPJ mobile units stationed at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) and Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) in Johor from 8am to 10pm.
JPJ advised the public to use the official channels provided to ensure every transaction is carried out smoothly and safely.
The department also stressed that service delivery to the public would continue, with every matter handled in an orderly, transparent and ethical manner.
