MANILA, Philippines — There will be no price increases on basic goods and prime commodities until May 10, not April 30, as announced previously, Trade Secretary Cristina Roque said on Friday.
The projected rise in consumer goods stems from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Fuel prices are expected to go down again next week as a truce between Lebanon and Israel takes effect and the possible return to the negotiating table by the US and Iran as announced by US President Donald Trump.
