Nottingham Forest are bidding for Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic.
The Serbia international saw a move to Inter Milan fall through earlier this month over an agents' row.
Samardzic remains available from Udinese and Forest are keen.
Tuttomercatoweb says Forest are ready to make a bid of 12m. However, Udinese are demanding at least 15m to sell.
Last season, Samardzic scored five goals and provided four assists in 37 matches in Serie A. His contract with Udinese expires in the summer of 2026.
