Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest have offered Brice Samba a new contract.
The goalkeeper was one of the most important players for Forest in the Championship play-offs last season.
According to The Sun, Forest are set to reward Samba with a new deal that would more than double his current wage.
The 28-year-old has only a year remaining on his contract.
He is intent on returning to France for the remainder of his career.
However, Forest are hoping that a wage rise along with the chance to play in the Premier League will convince him to stay.
