MANILA, Philippines — The NU Lady Bulldogs added to the Ateneo Blue Eagles' woes and claimed their second straight win, 25-18, 25-18, 25-15, in the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum Sunday.
Vange Alinsug fired 18 points on 14 attacks, three blocks, and one ace for NU, which improved to 5-1 for second place behind the 5-0 De La Salle.
Alinsug also logged seven excellent digs and two receptions to her name.
Ana Hermosura racked up seven points and eight receptions to pace Ateneo which dropped to 0-6, tied with UE at the bottom of the 8-team league.
