A BSc Nursing student was found dead after allegedly hanging herself in her hostel room in Faridkot on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as a resident of Kharar, Punjab.
Upon receiving information, local police reached the spot and took custody of the body. According to police, the exact reason behind the extreme step remains unclear as no suicide note has been recovered so far.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter. The family members of the student have been informed, and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
