A 22-year-old student of a private university in Sector 82 died after falling from the 13th floor of an upscale housing society in Kharar here in the wee hours of Saturday.
The victim was identified as Vansh of Sonepat.
His father told the police that the victim used to stay as a paying guest and study in Amity University.
Vansh had gone to meet his friends at a flat on the 13th floor of Future Heights, when the incident took place around 3 am. His friends rushed him to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The police took the body into their possession and handed it over to the victim’s kin after a post-mortem examination.
