Olly Murs breaks down in tears after completing Soccer Aid challenge

Olly Murs broke down in tears after finishing a 249-mile run for charity on Friday (15 May). Murs completed the challenge from Manchester to London by running, rowing and cycling.

The singer crossed the finish line at the London Stratford Stadium, wrapping up his five-day Into The Unknown charity challenge.

Sharing his experience with reporters about the “tough” week he’s had, he said, “Loads of highs, loads of lows, aches and pains, a loss of a toenail.”

The Save Me singer has raised more than £830,000 for children's charity Unicef, which organises Soccer Aid.

Joking about his hamstring, he said, “I think I lost my hamstring on the M6. If someone could pick it up, that'd be lovely.”
