While he is on a nationwide tour campaigning for Bersama, Rafizi, has been busy predicting that PKR will die out without Anwar.

“PKR’s entire focus is to ensure that Anwar becomes prime minister for a second term.

“And when the narrative and strategy revolve solely around Anwar, the risk becomes significant if, for example, he does not become prime minister after this.

“If Anwar has to continue leading PKR because the vacuum cannot be filled, then the party’s offer to voters becomes weaker than that of its competitors,” ” Rafizi told reporters after the second leg of the Kancil Tour in Ayer Keroh, Malacca, last night.

Regardless of what Rafizi might desire, PKR is certainly not going to disappear after Anwar.

It is not going to disappear because PKR is a brand. It has history and achievements. It has a track record and a presence in the national consciousness.

Even if it is abject losers who take control of PKR in the post-Anwar era, it still does not mean that PKR will disappear. It would simply mean that PKR will continue to decline.

As it continues to decline, those in control of PKR may eventually be forced out, and new blood may come in to reinvigorate the party.

The world is full of talent looking for opportunities, and an established brand name like PKR will always be able to attract new blood who seek a platform to shine.

PKR will only disappear if multiple generations of ineffective leadership control the party, and although this is possible, it is not inevitable or even likely.

Look at Gerakan, MIC and MCA. Today, they are pale shadows of their former selves. But despite their decline, they have not disappeared. Even without significant talent or influence, they still continue to exist, sustained by the weight of their brand, history, and past achievements.

As it is with Gerakan, MIC and MCA, so it is likely be with PKR.

Rather than be overly concerned about the fate of PKR, it may be better for Rafizi to simply forget about his old party.

He is not PKR's deputy president any longer, so what does it matter to him, even if PKR does sink into oblivion.

It might also be good for Rafizi to know that for him to continue ruminating about PKR while also predicting its ruin is also giving him the vibe of a sore loser.

I am not saying it is unnatural for us to want the organisation that we once belonged to to fail after we leave it in a huff, but I would also say that to the extent that we so, it will also give us the vibe of a sore loser.

Considering it has been a year since Rafizi left PKR, it may be better for him to just stop thinking about PKR, so that the image of loser doesn't stick to him and weigh him down.

Good things are happening to Rafizi now.

He is on a upward trend.

He has made a series of strong political moves in recent times and the disarray, not only in PKR but in the political landscape in general, since his departure has also given him a winner’s momentum.

He has also started a new party that has received attention from a significant number of of people and given a considerable number of them lot of hope.

It would be a shame if he sabotages his own progress just because he can't get over his past bitterness about PKR.

Rather than continuously feed and keep alive his past experience with losses, perhaps it might be best for him to just let it die, so that his winner vibe will have the space and opportunity to grow.

A loser is someone that can't forget their past glories and grievances, to the point that they waste too much attention, energy and time, reliving their past while hoping that those who had betrayed and abandoned them to go to ruin.

A winner on the other hand, is focused on what can be built and gained in the present and in the future.

As he tours the country, perhaps it would be best for Rafizi to spend his energy, time and attention, seeking out capable, energetic and talented people that he comes across, to join him in his march for future success, rather than than continue to rue the people that he has left behind.
