MANILA, Philippines — Parts of central Luzon, of Cavite, and of Batangas were under the orange warning in the Heavy Rainfall Warning issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) at 8 p.m. on Monday.
These areas in included Zambales, Bataan, Hagonoy in Bulacan, and parts of Pampanga (Floridablanca, Lubao, Porac, Masantol, Sasmuan, Macabebe, Santa Rita, and Guagua).
Also under the orange warning were these places in Batangas: Nasugbu, Lian, Calatagan, Balayan, Tuy, Calaca, Laurel, Agoncillo, Lemery, Taal, and San Nicolas).
Also under the orange warning were these places in Cavite: Ternate, Maragondon, Magallanes, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Alfonso, Naic, Indang, Mendez, Tanza, Trece Martires, Rosario, and General Trias).
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and other areas were under the yellow warning.
The yellow warning also covered other parts of Cavite (Amadeo, Silang, Tagaytay, Bacoor, Carmona, Cavite City, Dasmariñas, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Imus, Kawit, and Noveleta), parts of Laguna (San Pedro, Biñan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao, and Calamba), other parts of Batangas (Alitagtag, Balete, Batangas City, Bauan, Tanauan, Cuenca, Ibaan, Lipa, Mabini, Malvar, Mataasnakahoy, San Jose, San Luis, San Pascual, Santa Teresita, Santo Tomas, Talisay, Tingloy, Padre Garcia, Rosario, Taysan, Lobo, and San Juan), and parts of Rizal (San Mateo, Angono, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Morong, Taytay, and Teresa).
Also under the yellow warning were Tarlac, other parts of Bulacan (Angat, Balagtas, Baliuag, Bocaue, Bulakan, Bustos, Calumpit, Malolos, Meycauayan, Guiguinto, Marilao, Obando, Pandi, Paombong, Plaridel, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, San Rafael, Santa Maria, and San Jose del Monte), other parts of Pampanga (Apalit, Arayat, Candaba, San Fernando, Magalang, Mexico, Minalin, San Luis, San Simon, Santa Ana, Santo Tomas, Angeles, Mabalacat, and Bacolor), and parts of Nueva Ecija (Cabiao, San Antonio, San Isidro, Aliaga, Carranglan, Cuyapo, Guimba, Jaen, Licab, Lupao, Nampicuan, Quezon, Santo Domingo, Muñoz, Talugtug, Zaragoza, and San Jose).
Pagasa said "light to moderate with occasional heavy rains" were affecting Quezon, other parts of Laguna (Alaminos, Bay, Calauan, Liliw, Los Baños, Luisiana, Magdalena, Majayjay, Nagcarlan, Pagsanjan, Pila, Rizal, San Pablo, Santa Cruz, Victoria, Cavinti, Famy, Kalayaan, Lumban, Paete, Pakil, Pangil, Santa Maria, Siniloan, and Mabitac), other parts of Nueva Ecija (Pantabangan, Bongabon, Gabaldon, General Tinio, Gapan, Peñaranda, Palayan, Laur, Rizal, General Mamerto Natividad, Llanera, Talavera, Cabanatuan, Santa Rosa, and San Leonardo), other parts of Bulacan (Doña Remedios Trinidad, San Miguel, and Norzagaray), and other parts of Rizal (Rodriguez, Tanay, Antipolo, Pililla, Jala-Jala, and Baras) "which may persist within 3 hours."
