MANILA, Philippines — Colombian Camila Osorio outlasted Croatian Donna Vekic, 2-6, 6-3, 7-5, in an epic finale to win the inaugural WTA 125 Philippine Women’s Open at the  Rizal Memorial Tennis Center Saturday evening.

Fifth seed Osorio battled back from a set down and from a 3-4 game deficit in the third set, and turned back the fourth seed Vekic in a 2-hour and 31-minute battle.

Osorio clinched the match with an ace, ending the match that still drew a jampacked crowd even without home bet Alex Eala.
