P200M ‘super station’ breaks ground in Clark

THE Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) on Thursday announced the groundbreaking of a two-hectare mixed-use commercial and mobility hub in New Clark City.

The D11 Super Station, to be operated by Double 11 Properties Corp., will feature electric vehicle charging facilities, local and international food establishments, retail stores and other commercial spaces.

“D11 Super Station aims to be the premier stopover destination for dining, shopping, fuel and EV-charging needs of traveling locals and tourists by bringing our local and international food and retail brand partners to New Clark City,” Double 11 president Romeo Siccion said.

The development is part of a long-term lease agreement between BCDA and Double 11.

Double 11 has committed P200 million to the project, with P100 million each for the first and second phases. The development is expected to be completed in 2027.

“As New Clark City continues to grow, developments like the D11 Super Station provide the commercial and mobility infrastructure needed to support its expanding communities and businesses,” BCDA president and CEO Joshua Bingcang said.

He added that partnerships with the private sector are helping develop New Clark City into a vibrant urban center.

Designed as one of New Clark City’s key commercial gateways, the D11 Super Station will serve residents, visitors and motorists while complementing other developments in the area.

Once fully operational, the station is expected to create jobs for residents of Tarlac and neighboring communities and generate revenue for the government.

BCDA said the development will also expand commercial and mobility services available to residents, workers, visitors and investors.

Double 11 is a Filipino-owned company that develops and manages super stations, industrial parks and themed attractions.

Its developments include Mega Station KM 64 along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Shell of Asia KM 36 NLEX Southbound, Northwalk Clark, Northwalk 1 and 2 in San Fernando, Pampanga, and the PTT Station along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway.
