MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang said it respects the “strategy” of the prosecution panel following its decision to withdraw three of the four impeachment articles against Vice President Sara Duterte.
In a press briefing on Wednesday, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro affirmed the administration's stance on transparency while acknowledging the prosecution team's own strategy.
“We are all for the truth, but if this is the legal strategy of the prosecution, we cannot question their decision,” said Castro in Filipino.
