The northern and central parts of Luzon and the western section of the Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, the state weather bureau Pagasa reported early Sunday morning.
In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, Pagasa said that the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, Cagayan, Zambales, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Occidental Mindoro would have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon (habagat).
Also, Metro Manila, the Visayas, and the rest of Luzon would have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the habagat.
According to Pagasa Mindanao would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa warned of flash floods or landslides in areas experiencing heavy rain or severe thunderstorms.
Moderate southwesterly winds along the western coasts of Luzon will cause moderate to rough seas.
Meanwhile, the rest of the archipelago’s coastal waters will be slightly rough due to moderate southwesterly winds. (TMT)
