MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila and the provinces of Rizal, Bulacan and Cavite will have water interruptions this week due to maintenance works and high demand, Manila Water Company Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc. said on Sunday.
Manila Water said that in Taguig City, some areas in Brgy. Western Bicutan will have no water on March 16-17 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of a line meter replacement at Bayani Road corner Lawton Ave.
In Marikina City, some parts of Brgy. Fortune will have service interruptions on March 17-18 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the replacement of a water system line meter at Champaca St. corner Venus St.
Some parts of Brgy. Concepcion Dos will also have water interruptions on March 18-19 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the installation of a pressure reducing valve.
In Quezon City, some places in the villages of Culiat, Vasra, Bagong Pag-asa, Central, and UP Campus will have service interruptions on March 18-19 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities to detect possible system leaks.
In Mandaluyong City, some areas in the villages of Plainview, Hulo, and Barangka Drive will have no water on March 18-19 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of zero pressure testing works to check on system integrity.
In Manila, some areas in the villages of 876, 877, and 878, will have no water on March 18-19 between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. because of step testing activities.
Also, some areas in the villages of 798, 802, and 803 will have service interruptions on March 19-20 between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. because also of step testing works.
In Rizal, some places in the villages of Kalawaan, Darangan in Binangonan will have no water on March 16-17 and on March 17-18 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of line maintenance activities and zero pressure testing works.
Some areas in Brgy. Pantok, Binangonan will have water interruptions on March 17-18 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of zero pressure testing activities.
Meanwhile, some places in Brgy. Manggahan in Rodriguez will have service interruptions also on March 17-18 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the replacement of a water system line meter.
Some locations in Brgy. Mahabang Parang and Brgy. Mambog in Binangonan will have no water on March 18-19 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of line maintenance, and zero pressure testing activities.
Also, some areas in Brgy. Libid Brgy Libis, Brgy. Layunan and Brgy. Lunsad in Binangonan will have service interruptions on March 19-20 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to leak repairs at a water system in Poblcaion.
Some parts of Brgy. Pinugay in Baras will have water interruptions on March 19-20 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of looping works for a new water service connection to improve water pressure.
Maynilad meanwhile said that some locations in the villages of Gen. T. De Leon Karuhatan, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, and Parada in Valenzuela City will have service interruptions on March 16 between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. because of network maintenance.
Some places in the villages of Arkong Bato, Balangkas, Bisig, Coloong, Dalandanan, Gen. T. De Leon, Isla, Karuhatan, Mabolo, Malanday, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, Palasan, Parada, Pariancillo Villa, Pasolo, Poblacion, Polo, Rincon, Tagalag, Viente Reales, and Wawang Pulo in Valenzuela City; and some parts of the village of Paco in Obando, Bulacan will have water interruptions on March 18-19 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to network maintenance activities.
In Caloocan City, some areas in the villages of 36, 39, 189, 190, 191, 193, 194 and 196 will have no water on March 16-22 between 11:01 p.m. and 3 a.m. due to leak exploration activities.
In Manila, several villages in Binondo, Pandacan, Sampaloc, Santa Cruz, and Tondo will have water interruptions on March 16-22 between 11:01 p.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration activities.
In Cavite, several places in the villages of Alapan I-C, Anabu I-A, Anabu I-B, Anabu I-C, Anabu I-D, Anabu I-E, Anabu I-F, Anabu II-A, Anabu II- B, Anabu II-C, Anabu II-D, Anabu II-E, Bayan Luma I, Bayan Luma II, Bayan Luma III, Bayan Luma IV, Bayan Luma V, Bayan Luma VI, Bayan Luma VII, Bayan Luma VIII, Bayan Luma IX, Bukandala III, Bukandala IV, Bukandala V, Carsadang Bago I, Carsadang Bago II, Malagasang 1-A, Malagasang I-B, Malagasang I-C, Malagasang I-D, Malagasang I-E, Malagasang I-F, Malagasang I-G, Medicion I-B, Poblacion III-B, Poblacion IV-B, Poblacion IV-D, and Tanzang Luma VI will have no water on March 16-18 between 5 a.m. and 12 a.m. because of issues of high demand at the Patindig Araw pumping station.
