KUALA LUMPUR – Pas Youth chief Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden’s presence at the 2026 Umno Youth General Assembly at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre (WTCKL) today has drawn attention.
The Alor Setar Member of Parliament arrived at about 9am before joining the procession into the hall alongside Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh.
Afnan confirmed on Wednesday that he would attend the assembly following an invitation from the Umno Youth wing.
He said the invitation came after Umno Youth representatives attended the Pas Muktamar last week.
The 2026 Umno General Assembly is being held over four days from Wednesday to Saturday.
