MANILA, Philippines — Several major roads in Pasay City will be temporarily closed early Sunday morning, May 17, for the “Sante Barley Trilogy Run,” according to the Pasay Traffic and Parking Management Office.
The road closures will take effect from 1:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. to ensure the safety of participants and facilitate the smooth flow of the running event.
Affected roads include SM MOA Block 16, Seaside Avenue, Macapagal Avenue southbound, Jalandoni Street, Sotto Street, Roxas Boulevard up to the Manila area, Atang dela Rama Street, and Buendia Extension.
The traffic office said zipper lanes will be implemented in portions of Macapagal Avenue northbound, Sotto Street, Atang dela Rama Street, and Buendia Extension to allow vehicle access during the event.
Motorists were advised to plan their trips ahead and take alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion during the temporary road closures.
