
KIULU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) reaffirmed its commitment to remain a relevant local party within Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).
PBS acting president and Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam emphasised the importance of unity and cooperation with other GRS component parties.
He urged supporters, especially the youth, to work together to strengthen GRS as a stable and robust government and demand more rights for Sabah under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).
Joachim also called on all PBS members, including the youth, to remain prepared for challenges both from within and outside the party, stressing that collaboration was key to securing future victories.
He made these remarks during the party's 40th anniversary celebration here.
Meanwhile, PBS Kiulu chief and Kiulu Assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai highlighted the party’s 40-year legacy of strong representation in the state, reinforcing PBS's continued relevance in Sabah’s political landscape.
