University of Perpetual Help System Dalta made sure the finals series would not need a winner-take-all Game 3 as they sealed the NCAA Season 101 girls volleyball championship with a 25-16, 25-21, 25-22 win over last year’s champion Arellano University on Monday at the Arellano University gym in Pasay City.

Elizha Sildo scored a game-high 16 points from 15 attacks and a block to lead the Junior Lady Altas to their 9th straight victory since the start of Season 101.

Graduating setter Jasmine Monte posted 13 excellent sets and 2 digs.

Catherine Chu led the Baby Chiefs with 29 points, 4 digs and 5 receptions.

This is the second championship in three years by the coach Sandy Rieta-mentored squad.

"I saw in them the heart and eagerness to get the championship in Game 2, during our last practice yesterday, they talked," Rieta said after the game.

"They said they would give their best for their team captain and senior Jasmine Monte who is graduating this school year," Rieta added.

Perpetual Help won Game 1 of best-of-three finals, 25-19, 25-11, 25-23 last Thursday.
