University of Perpetual Help System Dalta guns for a second consecutive victory when it battles Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) on Friday in the NCAA Season 102 men's basketball tournament at the FilOil Playtime Centre in San Juan.
Game time is 5 p.m.
The Altas have been struggling this season but scored an emphatic 65-58 win over Arellano University last Monday.
Coach Olsen Racela and his boys aim to keep their momentum and add another win on Friday to climb up the ranks in Group B.
Perpetual Help enters Friday’s game with a 3-7 win-loss record, good for fourth place in Group B.
Letran is number one with an 8-3 card followed by Arellano University (5-6) and EAC (3-7). At the bottom of the group is San Sebastian with a 0-11 record.
The top three teams in the group will automatically get spots in the quarterfinal round but teams number four and five will clash in a one-game playoff for the last quarterfinals seat.
The last two games for the Altas are against the Stags on Nov. 3 and the Knights on Nov. 10.
Perpetual Help won over EAC in the first round.
In the quarterfinal round, the top two teams in the group will have the twice-to-beat advantage against the number three and four teams from the other group.
