Peter and Harriet Phillips have topped Tatler's "Social Power Index 2026" after their idyllic Cotswolds wedding last month.

The outlet describes the list as the "most socially significant people in Britain" and includes stars such as Callum Turner and Dua Lipa, Kemi Badenoch and Sir Lloyd Dorfman.

But it is the royal newlyweds who came out on top, having now become "the new royal couple to watch".

Princess Anne's son, aged 48, married his NHS nurse bride, 45, during an intimate June ceremony in Kemble, Gloucestershire, with the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh among the distinguished guests.

Sisters Beatrice and Eugenie also made their shock return to the royal fold at the nuptials, having not attended a public gathering since their father's arrest in February.

It was the bride who stole the show, with her beautiful high-necked gown complemented by a full veil designed by Emilia Wickstead.

Harriet, who was joined by her daughter Georgina, 13, and Mr Phillips's daughters Savannah, aged 15, and Isla, 14, as she entered All Saints Church, also gave a touching nod to Queen Elizabeth II – Peter's grandmother.

Lily of the valley, a bloom particularly cherished by her late majesty, was specifically selected by the couple for inclusion in her bridal flowers.

Since the lavish wedding, the Phillips attended Royal Ascot together – their first outing as a married couple – where they proudly joined the King and Queen in the official horse-drawn carriage procession.

It was here Harriet debuted her new title, with the official carriage list formally identifying her as Mrs Peter Phillips.

Fellow newlyweds Dua Lipa and her husband Callum Turner, the actor widely tipped to become the next James Bond, also feature on the index.

The couple recently celebrated their own Sicilian wedding followed by an Italian honeymoon.

Hollywood favourite Stanley Tucci and his wife Felicity Blunt — sister of actress Emily — have established themselves as a formidable presence in British social circles despite his American roots.

They were also present at Royal Ascot with the royals.

Model and actress Poppy Delevingne, sister of Cara, demonstrated her considerable social prowess this year by hosting a birthday celebration that attracted Taylor Swift and Eugenie among its guests.

The Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch and her husband Hamish secured their place on the list, having first met on the campaign trail at the Dulwich and West Norwood Conservative Club back in 2009.

Aristocratic representation came from the Viscount and Viscountess Astor, with Annabel, 78, known as the founder of the interiors brand Oka and mother to Samantha Cameron.

The Duke of Roxburghe, Charles Innes-Ker, a former Etonian and old army companion of Prince Harry, featured alongside his wife Annie.

Dame Tracey Emin, 62, rounded out the contingent, the artist known for her friendships with Madonna and various members of the aristocracy.
