Food and beverage industry has involved into more of show and tell these days.

Gone are the days of mundane tables and chairs; today, it's all about culinary theatrics.

If you want to make a mark, you need an idea that's as outlandish as it is appetizing.

Social media prowess is a must, too, because you're not truly successful until your dish goes viral.

Case in point: PerTEHmina, an Indonesian gem that serves iced tea with a twist – their tea dispensers look like fuel pumps.

The name itself, a clever wordplay, draws inspiration from the popular gas station Pertamina which stands for Perushaan Pertambangan Minyak dan Gas Negara, the Indonesian petroleum company.

So, not only do they serve you refreshing tea, but they also embrace the whole gas station aesthetic.

The staff? Well, they're dressed like petrol pump attendants, ready to help you fill your takeaway plastic bag, affectionately known as "ikat tepi" by Malaysians.

Who knew that getting iced tea could feel like a pit stop at a petrol station?

But wait, there's more! PerTEHmina doesn't limit you to a single iced tea option.

You can go big with a large or extra-large serving and even add some flavor to your tea game.

The prices? Wallet-friendly, ranging from RM0.91 to RM2.73. Now, that's a steal for a sip of creativity.

However, it's not all fun and games. We've got to wonder about the cleanliness of those "food-safe" pumps.

Regular maintenance is a must; nobody wants a side of gasoline residue with their tea!

So, dear Malaysians, if PerTEHmina decided to expand franchise-wise

across the sea to our shores, would you give their fuel pump-themed tea a whirl?

Imagine sipping on creativity and indulging in the petrol station experience. An incredible F&B concept, indeed.

Who knew that the road to culinary innovation was paved with tea leaves and petrol pumps?
