MANILA, Philippines — Jefrey Roda drained the clincher in the shootout as the Philippines topped Poland, 3-2, in the final to rule the WPA Teams World Championship at the Westgate Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, United States Saturday afternoon in Manila.

Calm and collected, Roda drilled the 10-ball in the fifth go as he, Carlo Biado, Chezka Centeno, and Rubilen Amit (reserve) topped Poland's Wojciech Szewczyk, Daniel Maciol, Katarzyna Wesołowska, 4-3, in the shootout for the title.

Biado's precise pocketing willed the Filipinos back from an 0-2 set deficit and then Roda completed the comeback bid with his clutch shot.
