PHIRST Park Homes, the first-home brand of Century Properties Group, on Monday said that it had marked its entry into the Mindanao market with the launch of PHirst Park Homes GenSan, a P5.3-billion residential development in General Santos City.
The project, unveiled on Feb. 21, was said to be part of the company’s strategy to expand beyond Luzon and its push to become a nationwide developer by tapping demand in fast-growing regional centers.
The development sits on a 23.7-hectare property in Baluan, General Santos with more than 2,400 housing units. PHirst Park said it earmarked around P3 billion in capital expenditures for the project.
“This development is a testament to our commitment to enriching the lives of more Filipinos with quality homes and community,” PHirst Park President Ricky Celis said.
“Our vision extends beyond home ownership; it is about fostering a sustainable, thriving community where every family can prosper,” Celis added.
The company said General Santos was a strategic location due to its expanding commercial activity and improving infrastructure. The project site is situated near key transport routes and business hubs, offering residents accessibility and potential long-term property value appreciation.
Two of the development’s house models were showcased during the launch. Both include tiled flooring, kitchen cabinetry, pre-installed utility connections and perimeter fencing.
Site amenities, meanwhile, include a clubhouse, basketball court and swimming pool.
PHirst currently has 32 active projects nationwide across Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon province, Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Bacolod City and South Cotabato.
Parent firm Century Properties' shares rose P0.02, or 2.67 percent, to close at P0.77 each on Monday.
