Kota Kinabalu: Islamic Religious Affairs Exco, Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif, will seek information from the Halal Hub of the Sabah Islamic Religious Council (Muis) on a viral issue in social media about the use of pig-based bristles in a bakery, here.

He said if found to have a violated the halal logo rules, stern action will be taken.

Mohd Arifin, who is also Science, Technology and Innovation Minister, said this after officiating the BIMP-EAGA Cyber Security Summit 2023 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), here.
