Finding connection after trailing the Cool Smashers at 15-18, the High Speed Hitters went on a 10-3 run to come back from a 15-18 hole and finish off the Cool Smashers whom they denied a finals berth last Sunday and relegated to this battle for third match.
Savi Davison unleashed 29 points on 26 attacks including the clincher against Jaja Santiago to lead PLDT.
Davison, who logged three aces, added 19 excellent receptions and 15 digs.
Kim Fajardo tossed 15 excellent sets for PLDT which also snared a bronze medal in the previous All-Filipino Conference.
