The MADANI Rakyat Programme in Perak exceeded its visitor target, delivering over 230 direct government services to nearly 150,000 people through strong federal-state collaboration.

IPOH: The MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) Perak 2026 has successfully met its core objective of bringing government services directly to the people.

Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu stated that the large-scale programme serves as a vital platform to enhance access to services at the grassroots level.

She confirmed that the initiative, introduced in 2024, has proven effective in delivering services directly to the public.

“Today alone, 34 ministries are involved, offering about 230 direct services and touchpoints that can be accessed by the people,” she told reporters after attending the event at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah in Meru Raya.

Aiman Athirah attributed the programme’s success to the strong synergy between federal and state governments, along with the involvement of NGOs and government-linked companies.

She highlighted that the collaboration includes stakeholders providing services like the i-Biaya scheme, which facilitates access to housing financing.

On public response, she revealed that attendance had reached about 149,000 visitors, surpassing the initial target of 100,000 visitors.

“This encouraging response shows that the people, especially in Perak, are receptive to the MADANI Rakyat programmes,” she added.
