PUTRAJAYA, May 2 - Police have confirmed another incident of a foreigner falling to their death at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA T2) last night.

KLIA district police chief Ravi Munusamy said that in the 9.10pm incident, a 30-year-old Algerian man is believed to have fallen from the balcony at the airport.

He said a medical team provided emergency treatment at the scene before the victim was sent to Cyberjaya Hospital for treatment.

“However, at about 2.55am this morning, the hospital confirmed the man had died,” Ravi said in a statement today.

The case has been classified as sudden death, and the cause is being investigated.

Ravi urged anyone with information on the man’s death to contact the KLIA district police headquarters at 03-8776 8222.

Yesterday afternoon, police reported that a woman from China had fallen to her death from Level 3 of KLIA T2.
