Kota Kinabalu: Police are seeking public assistance to locate two people reported missing in separate cases in Kota Kinabalu and Keningau.
Here, Muhammad Muaz Furqan Hashrul, 14, a student of SMK Kelombong, Inanam, was reported missing after his mother arrived to pick him up from school at about 1.30pm but could not find him.
City police headquarters said efforts to locate the teenager around Inanam and through enquiries with his friends were unsuccessful, adding that he does not have a mobile phone and was last seen wearing his school uniform.
Those with information on Muhammad Muaz’s whereabouts may contact investigating officer SM DK Rosmah Pg Hashim at 011-3167 7612, the Kota Kinabalu police hotline at 088-221 191, Inanam Police Station or the nearest police station.
Meanwhile, Keningau police are searching for Bonny Subrony Kasiamus, 39, of Kampung Tindian, Apin-Apin, who has not returned home and has been unreachable since leaving on Aug 17.
Keningau police chief Supt Yampil Garai said police received a missing person report at about 9.12am on Aug 23 and urged those with information to contact investigating officer Insp Haniff Omar Bak at 012-684 1917 or the nearest police station.
