A tragic accident near a mall late last night (Nov 20) claimed the lives of three individuals, including a pregnant woman, while another woman was critically injured. The accident, involving a Perodua Viva, occurred around midnight.
The deceased have been identified as Nurulhuda Ramli, 41, Muhammad Danial Mohd Nuzi, 24, and Amizan Sapiie, 27. The critically injured woman, Nizasuhana Ujang, 28, was rushed to Putrajaya Hospital for urgent medical care.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar stated that the department received a distress call shortly after midnight. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to extricate the victims and provide assistance.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to the police for further investigation. Details regarding the cause of the crash remain under investigation, as authorities work to determine the events leading up to the fatal accident.
