Pregnant woman among three killed in accident, another seriously injured

A PREGNANT woman was among the three people who died, while another pregnant woman was seriously injured after their car crashed near the IOI City Mall shopping centre in Putrajaya, last night,

The victims were identified as Muhammad Danial Mohd Nuzi, 24, Nurulhuda Ramli, 41, and Amizan Sapiie, 27, while the seriously injured victim was Nizasuhana Ujang, 28.

The Fire and Rescue Services Department said firemen from the Cyberjaya station rushed to the location upon receiving a report at 12.10 am.

The accident involved a Perodua Viva car which is believed to have crashed after the driver lost control.

"There were two men and two pregnant women in the car. The pregnant woman who was seriously injured was sent to Putrajaya Hospital.

"Two men and another pregnant woman were confirmed dead by medical personnel from the Ministry of Health," said the department.

The bodies of the three victims who died were handed over to the police for further action. - November 21, 2024
