The iconic luxury residence featured in the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada,** starringMeryl Streep and Anne Hathaway; was recently sold for $26.5 million (€22.6m).

While the identity of the buyer was not disclosed for a long time, it has now been revealed that the new owner is Mustafa Rahmi Koç, the Honourable Chairman of the Board of Directors of Koç Holding.

This famous residence, which Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestly called home, is located in New York's Manhattan district.

The 1,100 square metre residence has 7 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and a private basketball court.

The Devil Wears Prada is based on the 2003 novel by Lauren Weisberger. It follows Andy Sachs (Hathaway), an aspiring journalist who gets a job at a fashion magazine but finds herself at the mercy of her demanding editor (Streep) - a ruthless boss of the fashion world.

American Vogue editor Anna Wintour is widely believed to have been the inspiration for Priestly.

A sequel, The Devil Wears Prada 2, is currently in the works and set to be released in May 2026.
