Sir Jim Ratcliffe's Ineos are less confident of securing Manchester United this summer.

The Red Devils are up for sale, with various British and American media sources stating the offer from the Qatari royal family is in pole position at present.

Per GFFN, Ineos have become pessimistic about agreeing a deal to buy United.

They are set to focus their energies on French side Nice, which the group also owns.

United look set to be bought by Sheikh Jassim from Qatar, who has seemingly put in the most substantial bid.

One issue with the Ineos bid is that it would have only bought out some of the Glazer siblings, which could have triggered a lawsuit from other shareholders in United, considering the Qatari offer is to buy the whole club.
