Manchester United fans may be ready to receive good news about the club's stadium.
The Red Devils could have a new investor in the coming days, as Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS group looks to purchase 25 percent of the club.
Per The Times, one of the ambitions of Ratcliffe is to expand Old Trafford and refurbish the stadium.
United fans have often commented about how Old Trafford is in major need of an upgrade.
Aside from infrastructure work, INEOS would look to increase the fans they can get into the stadium.
The group wants to achieve a 90,000 capacity for Old Trafford, which would be a big increase from the current 77,000.
The report also states that many senior staff at United, including chief executive Richard Arnold and director of football John Murtough, are in danger of losing their jobs.
