Manchester United fan and billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe has ramped up his efforts to buy the club.
The Red Devils are officially up for sale, with reports in the British press suggesting that bids are already going in from various suitors.
Per Bloomberg, the two Wall Street firms in Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan will be assisting Ratcliffe with his bid.
The INEOS owner is likely to need financing to match the Glazers' asking price of nearly 5 billion.
However, the debt would not be placed on the club, but on INEOS instead.
Ratcliffe is up against unnamed billionaires from Middle Eastern states Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
