KOTA KINABALU: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Secretary-General Datuk Mohamed Razali Mohamed Razi (pic) has denied claims that Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) is using money or positions to attract members from other parties.

He said the recent defection of 250 women and youth from Darau Star stemmed from their confidence in Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor’s leadership and GRS’s consistent delivery track record.

Razali, who welcomed the group on Friday, said their decision reflected genuine trust in GRS’s leadership and vision, adding that “the people want to see delivery, not promises.”Former Daray Star Wiranita chief Datin Nollyzai Datuk Awg Sham, who led the group, said their move was voluntary and based on belief in Hajiji’s and Razali’s credibility, stressing she had never been involved in money politics.

Razali added that more members from other parties were expected to join GRS soon, calling the trend “a hijrah, a migration towards what’s better,” and hinted with a smile that his team in Darau was ready for the election.
