RB Leipzig chief Oliver Mintzlaff is being linked with Chelsea.
BILD says Chelsea have made a move for Mintzlaff as they seek to hire a new sporting director.
Talks between the 47 year-old and Chelsea have already been held.
Mintzlaff is tied to Leipzig until 2026. As such, Chelsea will need to settle on a compensation fee with Leipzig to ferry him away.
For the moment, Mintzlaff is leaning towards fulfilling his contract with Leipzig.
