RISM to help Sabah Utility Corridor succeed

Kota Kinabalu: Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) Sabah Branch will hold its 9th Sabah International Surveyors Congress on Nov 26 to 27, 2025, themed “Redefining Infrastructure through ESG”.

A RISM Sabah Branch delegation led by the immediate past chairman Sr Robert Tseu accompanied by Sr Terence Siew, Sr Anna Vun, Sr Stannard Chang and Sr Liaw Lam Thye called on Datuk Dr Johnson Tee, the chairman of the newly established Sabah Utility Corridor (KUS), ay his office on Monday, Sept 8, 2025.

RISM consists of geomatic land surveyors, quantity surveyors, property surveyors and building surveyors. The geomatic land surveyors play an important part in the work of KUS.

A number of pertinent issues were deliberated at the meeting and how the surveyors can play a key role in the eventual formation of a utility corridor in Sabah.

RISM Sabah invited KUS to participate in their 9th Sabah International Surveyors Congress to present a paper on how KUS embrace ESG in their operation.
